Dr. John Landi is a board certified General Surgeon trained at Metropolitan Medical Center in New York and fellowship trained Vascular Surgeon at Downstate Medical Center in New York. His credentials include former Professor of Surgery, Director of Surgery and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Mount Vernon Hospital in New York. He is currently Chief of Vascular Surgery at Naples Community Hospital in Naples, Florida. He is one of only a few physicians, internationally, to be certified by the American Board of Phlebology (the treatment of veins). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) and an Associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and has been in private practice since 1980. He is also certified by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International Society as an RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer). He was one of the first 75 physicians internationally to obtain this certification which is sanctioned by the American Board of Phlebology as documentation that a physician is certified to perform venous ultrasounds. He is currently on staff at Naples Community Hospital, North Collier Hospital and Naples Day Surgery. Dr. Landi is Medical Director of the Vanish Vein and Laser Center, a state of the art Vein Center established in 2002, dedicated to the complete eradication of unwanted veins anywhere in the body, from varicose and spider veins in the legs to unsightly veins on the hands, body and face. Modalities of treatment include laser vein ablation, venous closure, percutaneous ultrasonic directed sclerotherapy, foam sclerotherapy as well as microphlebectomies and venous stasis ulcer treatment.

In the course of lecturing and training physicians in laser vein treatments, Dr. Landi became interested in other aesthetic services. He has traveled throughout the United States and Canada to learn and be certified on the latest aesthetic practices. All procedures are now offered at La Bella Mia Medical Spa and all have a common goal – to minimize downtime and discomfort, and to maximize results.

In 2005, Vanish Vein and Laser Center expanded to include La Bella Mia Medical Spa, a full service day spa. Dr. Landi is also the Medical Director of La Bella Mia Medical Spa.
